WEDNESDAY!!!

Today we had an amazing day in the capital city - Washington DC. It was a day full of history and fun. After fighting the busy morning traffic of DC, we got to the Capitol and the Library of Congress. There are very beautiful and impressive buildings and it was interesting to learn more about them.

After that we finally got to see the white house and we were all surprised how small it is. Most of us ate lunch at Smithsonian and then explored the Space Museum. In the afternoon we met a lot of very important Americans. First we went to the Lincoln Memorial, where we had an amazing view of the National Monument. We were all really impressed of the size of the Lincoln statue.

After that we saw the Korean War, Roosevelt, and Martin Luther King Jr. memorials. It was a great jump into art and history. Our amazing day ended with shopping and dinner in beautiful Georgetown.
