In the morning, we went to the 86th floor of the
Empire State Building. It was literally so spectacular and terrific to be able
to see all the views on the top of New York City. Then, we headed to the Grand
Central Station, which is the most famous terminal in the US. We had a lunch
downstairs. We got lots of options of food such as Indian, Mexican, Thai,
American and “Cheese Cake”.
In the afternoon, we went to the Wall Street to see
various economic and historical buildings in NYC and then 9/11 Memorial, which
was pretty cool because we could know the fact that New Yorkers have been
trying to keep their memories of and show their respect to the eventful
incident. After that, we kept walking and headed to the Brooklyn Bridge. We
crossed the river over the bridge. Then we got on the bus to go shopping in
Soho. There was not much time for shopping but we got lots of stuff from
various stores such as clothes, shoes, and even food.
Because of the walking
tour and shopping, we were so starving and were in a rush to Chinatown to have
a dinner all together. We went to a Chinese restaurant. The Chinese in our
group told us about their food and culture and Asians who use chopsticks well
taught Europeans how to use them. It was precious time to get to know each
other even more.
